Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) invites applications from experienced and dedicated professionals to join our team and deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to our community.


What you'll be doing

Provide contemporary comprehensive specialist services for optimal patient outcomes.
Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.



This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.  These awards are available at

  1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Vascular Surgeon and/or overseas trained specialist pathway
  2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Vascular Surgery at the role delineation of the service.
  3. Demonstrated endovascular skills, including current certification in Radiation Safety.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
  5. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to provide teaching/mentoring of accredited Vascular Registrar.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
  8. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
